Rumors have been swirling around for months that All Time Low would be playing this years Vans Warped Tour. Nothing had been confirmed: until now.
All Time Low's drummer, Rian Dawson, stated the following to Pupfresh.com.
"Warped tour set question is tough, because we’ll only have 30-40 minutes (not sure what it is this year). I’m sure we’ll play coffee or jasey though.
Dude it’s been so weird playing this short of a set after headlining for 3 years, playing 90 minute sets. But exactly, it’s the only way to reach new fans, especially because we’re not radio compatible.
I think you’ll really enjoy the new record, I mean that, not just saying it. I appreciate the candid comment, and I understand where you are coming from.
PS - I’ll always throw a redditor on the guestlist."
That was found on a thread on Redditt.com, and I have included a link below.
So, who's excited out there? You can check out the full line up for Warped tour by going to their website, http://vanswarpedtour.com/. More bands are announced every Wednesday and the pre-sale tickets begin on March 30th. They officially go on sale on April 6, so go check it out. You may just want to go.
Keep in mind that Warped tour is not only a great way to see a ton of bands in one day, but it is also a great way to meet people. Even if you don't get to go to their signings, just keep your eyes peeled, you may just spot someone.

Some things have been brought to my attention
There's a few things I'd like to get off of my chest. Its nothing serious, so do not worry. I simply have come to realize that there is a few things very few people are aware of. Please read on to learn more.
First off, I am a girl! A lot of you seem to assume I am a guy, and I still do not understand why, honestly. Mostly for the fact that I do "fangirl" a little over certain rock stars like Matt Good, Andy Biersack, and Jordan Witzigreuter, and do call them 'hot' and 'cute'. From time to time. A guy wouldn't do that, I don't think. Well, unless he was gay, then he might.
Second, my name is Ariel. I know I could clear up this problem by saying my name at the end of each post, but what's the point? I am the only admin, so honestly, I do not think about it. I'm going to not only post this link on the Music = Life page, but I am going to put a link to this blog in the description for the page. Just for future references, so there's no confusion. Of course, that is, if people actually take the time to read my blogs.
Lastly, I do have a website. I am not sure how, but not a lot of people are aware of that. In fact, 'Immortal Music' the blog began the same day as the website! Technically, the blog began posting first, because I wanted to keep people updated on what was going on as the site was being created. Immortal Music has been up since September 16, 2011, and for a while was very active. However, I have yet to be able to afford to pay for it, and now it likes to give me a ton of technical issues. Those issues tend to result in not allowing me to post anything.
To add to those issues, I change the layout with Photoshop CS3 and my computer about two months ago now, died, and while I think we saved it onto an external hardrive, I am having a hard time relocating my Photoshop. So, because of all of that, I've become very discouraged. I still try to do interviews, and post the news from time to time, but without being able to post it properly, half the time I end up losing what I just typed and have to restart the post several times. Ultimately, I tend to get fed up and give up for the day. I have been wanting to make the website more updated, but until things get fixed, I can't do it just yet.
I'm still trying to make a name for myself, and since my main goal is to be an interviewer for the most part, I constantly am trying to get more. Yesterday I searched for hours for the mangement of many people who'll be performing at Rock The Range on May 18, 19, and 20th in Columbus, OH. I already had the contact information for Emphatic, Adelita's Way, Theory Of A Deadman, and many others, but I found Marilyn Manson, and a few that are not on Rock The Range, like The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. The one I am most proud of is Three Days Grace. I have been looking for their contact information for about a year now, since I decided I wanted to start doing this, and I finally found it. I am quite pleased, I just hope I found the correct one, and that they respond soon. :)
Now that everything is cleared up, and I went on a tangit about what I am still trying to do. If you'd actually like to see Immortal Music, please click here just do keep in mind that I haven't been able to update in a while.

Don't let the world define you.
Don't you just love when lyrics get you thinking? They seem to inspire my thinking a lot. Today, I was listening to NeverShoutNever, and I never really have before. Obviously, I know who he is, but I generally am not into that genre. I watched a couple interviews with Christopher Drew and decided I needed to hear more of his music, as I only knew "Happy."
One song, "On The Brightside", made me start thinking. "You're only as tall as your heart will let you be, and you're only as small as the world will make you seem .." What I took that to mean is as long as you have the heart to do what you want in life, the world can't define you.
Obstacles will always be in your way, so what do you do? Do you find a way around it, or do you give up and go home? Most of the time, people find a way around it, or through it, but some do give up. Sometimes you have to, but usually you don't have to give up, you simply choose to. If you choose not to, that makes you a bigger, better person. Which is why Chris says, "If you look on the brightside, you're roughly six feet tall."
Pyshcially, I am a small person. I am not even five foot, and yes, it bothers me greatly. Mentally though, I am six feet talls. I don't really let obstacles keep me down, but they're everywhere. If you let them get the best of you, you'll never reach your dreams. We all know I can't have any of that nonsense in my life. I am a dreamer, and one days most of them will be a reality. Life doesn't have to be boring, and since you only live once, why not live it up?

Bryan Stars Sings!
Bryan Stars, a semi sucessful YouTube interviewer, has been told by fans countless times that he is a great singer. Fans are aware of this fact because from time to time in his interviews, news videos, reviews, updates or random videos he will sing snippets of songs. Now, he has taken that to heart, and has made another YouTube account, special for song covers he will be doing. The first one will be, "Your Favorite Song" by NeverShoutNever, and you can subscribe to the account now, right here.
If you have not already subscribed, you can also subscribe to his other two accounts, BryanStars and BryanStars2. Both accounts are used frequently, so you will always be getting updates. Whether its a music video, music video review, interview, behind the scenes of an interview, news, fan mail video, or a video jus to say "Hi", there's always going to be something.
Check out his latest video, which is talking all about the latest thing he's working on. Sometime today, the behind the scenes video of his second interview with Falling In Reverse's Ronnie Radke should be up. However, the actual video will not be posted for another week. Watch the video for more details.

I'm somehwat surprised.
I realize my blog is not popular, I do get that, but I am happy to see the blog I wrote up last night got six views. Its not a lot, but its still better than the usual ammount I get. That's one to none. The most views I've ever gotten is 11. Its not popular, but you know what? I still am going to keep writing these random little blogs. Eventually, I might reach someone, and even if I don't, at least I had fun doing it.
Plus, if anyone important (like a band, or manager) looks into my site and blog, I want them to see that I was active. The more material there is, the better chances of them realizing I'm pretty dedicated to what I want to do. What also helps, the more I write, the more practice I'm getting.
I've been told I'm a good writer, but I feel like I'm nothing special. Not yet anyways. Yes, I do sometimes get ahead of the biggest rock music magazine in the country from time to time, but is that really anything special? I mean, I don't have an office, or even a 'professional' title. For that matter, I don't even have my own computer! I share a laptop and a desktop with the rest of my family. So really, I am a nobody in this business. I suppose its arguable that getting ahead of Alternative Press magazine when I work off of a computer that's techincally not even mine is impressive, but I find it to be just a reoccuring coincidence.
Some people have asked me where I find the news, and honestly, since I do not have bands coming to me with their news, I just find it from Facebook. They post a lot on there, and Twitter. You just have to spot the news quickly and talk about it.
Speaking of that, I will try to post the news today. :)

I Am What I am
Ok, so you guys may call me a loser for this one. I just got done watching the latest DCOM. For those who don't know what a DCOM is, that's a Disney Channel Original Movie. Disney Channel used to refer to their movies as such, but they recently stopped that. I was greatly impressed, even though I thought it'd be just another High School Musical.
Given, I only thought that because in the commerical they say something about the status quo, and HSM has a song called Stick To The Status Quo. Its totally not like High School Musical in the least. Its all about showing the world who you truely are. I know, I know, most Disney movies and shows touch on that subject, but this felt more true to life in a way.
I've already explained to you guys who I am, in a way. Most of you know, I am just a girl with big dreams and goals who's obbessed with music. As I was watching this movie, I found myself thinking what part of me am I not expressing to the Interwebs? It seems like more and more these days that people are expressing themselves on the internet, but do you ever really know someone? That goes for in person as well, can you truely say you know anyone?
I like to think of myself as an open book. You ask me a question, and I'll give you my honest answer. One of my favorite words is 'bitch', and you know what? I'm proud to be one! My mother has always taught me that being a bitch is not a bad thing, under the right curcumstances. Nine times out of ten, when you're called a bitch, its not because you're being mean, its because you're speaking your mind and people disagree.
I'm a very opinionated person, I'm not afraid to get my point across, and you would defentily be wrong if you called me shy.
Nothing embarrasses me either. Sure, I'm not too quick to admit somethings, but it doesn't mean that I am embarrassed by them. I am who I am, and I am a complicated person. I don't care what people think for the most part, but that doesn't mean I don't care at all. Words do hurt sometimes, so yes, I have been insulted by things people have said to me.
I dress like an emo, punk, gothic, rocker chick. Not because I'm upset about anything, or because I hate my life, its only because I like the style. Sometimes that's the only reason people dress a certain way, not because they're trying to get attention, or express how they feel. Its sometimes just how they enjoy looking. Maybe I'm weird, but I love the looks I get when I go to Walmart dressed in all black with my Tripps, and music blasting. It amuses me to no end.
I feel people make too big of a deal out of how they look, and they worry too much about how people see them. Why do you care what people think? What really matters is what you think! If you think you look good, then you look good. Someone else will think so, even if you don't believe it.
Judgmental people and know it all's piss me the fuck off. Everyone has to judge someone at some point, but they don't have to judge every little thing about them. Or look down on them just because there's something about them that's less than fabulous. People who do that need to be high fived. In the face. With a chair. Its just pointless, if you ask me. What's even more aggravating is you know they'd hate to be judged the way they judge others.
Know it all's...well, they don't know everything, and need to stop treating me like I know nothing because I don't walk around acting like I know everything. I don't know everything, and I don't want to know everything. Imagine how boring life would be if you never learned anything new? I personally love learning new things! One of my favorite things to do every day is read these useless and random facts on Twitter. Its just fun to read something and go, "I never knew that! How interesting!"
I'm a dreamer and a realist. Meaning, I have big dreams, but I know I have to work to get them, so I do it. I set realistic dreams and work hard for it. Yes, I slack off from time to time, but if we're all honest, don't we all from time to time? Even the President of the United States probably gets lazy from time to time and just wants to sit on Facebook playing games and IMing people. Laziness is a part of life, you just have to know when the correct time for being lazy is.
Right now, I feel like I should be on the radio, or talking to a camera, not just typing. That's something else I feel I haven't mentioned in a while. One day, I hope to have my own webshow, and radio show. Yeah, I have a lot of dreams, and maybe they won't all happen, but hey, who knows? I want to have my own magazine and website, radio show and web show, this blog, of course Music = Life, and my own clothing company! Oh sure, its a lot, but that's why I will not be doing it alone. Over time, other people will come along who want to help. For now, there's nobody, so I make do with what I can.
All I have right now is a website that hates my guts, a Facebook page with only 497 people on it, and this blog that hardly anyone reads. Its not much, but I feel like I need to keep going, and trying to climb higher. Dreams are important to have because if you don't dream of what your life could be, you're going to get stuck in a life you don't want. Parents always want their kids to do better than they do, so if you love your parents, you're going to reach for the stars.
Not the sky, the sky is not the limit, the stars aren't even the limit. There's not a limit. One of my favorite quotes is "If the sky is the limit, than I'll build a bridge up to it. If I make it back, I'd still want more." I've quoted it so many times, you guys probably already know what its from, but its from "I'm Here To Take The Sky" by Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows. I have loved that line since the day I first heard it. That song is truely an inspiration, and I love it.
I suppose I can not explain myself in just one blog. Actually, I'm sure I could, but in order to do that, I'll be typing for another hour or more, and you'll be reading for at least two. I'd still miss something!
Who knows if I'm even getting through to anyone? I only know of one person who reads my blogs, and she doesn't count because she knows me. Now, I am being hounded to get off the computer, so I have to get off.

Immortal Music Fest!
I'm pretty sure I've talked about this before, but now I feel like I must do it again. Come on, you know you enjoy my weird little daydreams that I for some odd reason like to post on the internet. Oh, you don't? Sorry then, feel free to close this blog and go else where. I will not be offended.
I saw a fake line up for the Reading Festival 2012 that'll take place in Leeds, UK. It said some vastly different acts like The Jonas Brothers, Nickelback, Miley Cyrus, Tokio Hotel, ect. I should have realized it was fake, espeically when I saw Fall Out Boy, who've been on a break since 2009. It got me thinking though, because honestly, I'd love to see the Jonas Brothers and Nickelback at one concert, along with McFly, Selena Gomez, ect. So, I thought, who would I put on a lineup for a festival? If I was the one who got to set it up, as long as they agreed, I could get whoever I wanted.
I'm thinking I'd have it where everyone played a full or mostly full set, so it is pretty much guarenteed to be a long concert. That way, I do not have to pick a headliner, and if someone comes for this band, but not this one, at least the band they came for played a full set.
The main "headliners" will be: Jonas Brothers, Three Days Grace, Art Of Dying, Nickelback, and Avenged Sevenfold. I know the Jonas Brothers don't fit at all, but I'll balance it out somehow, plus, I love them.
Supporting acts would be: Mayday Parade, All Time Low, The Ready Set, NeverShoutNever, Falling In Reverse, Asking Alexandria, Escape The Fate, Emphatic, Adelita's Way, Safetysuit, Daughtry, We're All Virus, Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez, Black Veil Brides, D.R.U.G.S., Seether, My Darkest Days, Nick Jonas And The Administration, Joe Jonas, We Are The In Crowd, Shinedown.
I think it'd have to be a two day festival. Which means, I guess I could do it one of two way. Just mix them all up and decide who goes what days, or I could keep the "pop" bands seperate from the rock ones. If I did that, I'd have 17 rock bands, and only ten pop ones. I may have to think up some more pop-ish ones.
