I was looking at Alternative Press' Most Anticipated albums of 2012, and it got me thinking. What do I want to see come out in 2012? They only mentioned albums and EP's, but what about all the tours? Not to mention, I am not looking forward to any of the things they mentioned, though I knew about The Used planning to release an album next year, and that is pretty cool. Feel free to read everything they had to say right here. Everything I have to say is vastly different.
For one, I can not wait to hear more for D.R.U.G.S. Their first album is amazing, but one album is not enough. They have come so far so fast, and I am certain that they will amaze us all with their sophmore album, whenever it may come out. If you ask me, they are the best band to start this year.
I also look forward to hearing the third Boys Like Girls album, whenever that's due out. I always enjoy their music, and as long as they do not drastically change, I'll still love them.
There's also seeing Falling In Reverse tour more, as they've barely gotten to lately. There's been a lot of issues trying to get their tours up and going, and I think that's a shame. I've heard Ronnie say he loves playing shows, so it sucks for him that he barely has. They played five dates on Warped this summer, and a few short tours with Eyes Set To Kill and others. I want to see them tour a lot more this coming year, and put out a new album! I have a feeling they probably will, seeing as Ronnie said he wrote over four hundred songs while in jail. They have material set for a very long time if they'd want.
I'd love to see All Time Low touring more, and put out another album as well. Preferably, one very similar to Dirty Work. That is honestly, their best album. The true pop-rock sound works wonders for them, and I love it.
Then there's Warped tour 2012. Bands will be announced soon, and dates are already out, but it is possibly the biggest tour for music. Everyone knows about Warped tour, and if you don't, you live under a rock obviously. There is nothing else quite like it, not here in America anyways. So far only one band has been confirmed for Warped, and that's You Me At Six. I saw them live, and they said they will be on next year's Warped tour while on stage. There's been rumors going around that Falling In Reverse will be on all the dates, on the main stage this year at Warped, and I have heard rumors that All Time Low and Yellowcard will be on the 2012 Warped. Whether that's true or not, I don't know. All Time Low has not been on Warped in some time, though they did play a few dates this year. I hope its true, I'd love to see All Time Low on Warped tour.
I'd also love to see D.R.U.G.S, Black Veil Brides, The Ready Set, all return to Warped tour this year. I heard they were among some of the best at Warped that were not on the main stage, and I think that'd be kick ass. As a music journalist, I am thinking I'll go to Warped tour 2012 because its one hell of a chance to meet and really talk to a ton of people. Not even just the people in the band, but the people who work for the band. You can learn a lot from just them even.

Ones like All Time Low, Mayday, The Ready Set, and others are plausable though. We're All Virus would be stoked to do Warped Tour, that'd mean they'd get to play shows out of the state of Florida. They're still a local band. I don't really know why I want NeverShoutNever! on Warped tour, I only like one song by him. I guess its because he's adorable. Superficial reason, I know.
The number one thing I am looking forward to, however, is Three Days Grace fourth studio album. It has been completed since May or somewhere right around there. The release date, and title are still unknown, but I am highly excited for it. As many people know, they're my favorite band, and out of the three albums they currently have, they only have two songs I don't like. They're such an amazing band, so I can not wait to hear more for them.

X-Mas Ball 2011 (Buried Alive tour!)
Last night was the kick off to Avenged Sevenfold's Buried Alive tour, it was also an annual event called X-Mas Ball. Before I go on explaining, it is actually 'X' Mas not the Christmas Ball. I know Xmas is another way to say Christmas, but in this case its not. The radio station that hosts it is called 99x so its always been called the X-Mas Ball.
The bands were (in this order) Black Veil Brides, Asking Alexandria, Hollywood Undead, and then, finally, Avenged Sevenfold. Honestly, Black Veil Brides was the best band there, even though they only played five songs. I don't wanna spoil the set list, since the tour has barely begun, but let's just say I was surprised by a few things they did not play, and I was surprised by a couple they played. I will tell you this, they played "Rebel Yell" off their upcoming EP. This surprised my mom, because I never told her they covered it. I wasn't really surprised, considering the EP comes out next month.
Someone was clearly pissing Andy off, because he told more than one person to suck his dick. I don't know exactly what happened, but at one point he crotched down, and got someone's attetnion. He said into the microphone, "Hey, tell him suck my dick, from me." A little while later he did the hand gesture to someone on the other side of the stage, and flipped someone off. For some reason, they get a lot of hate. I even told someone to shut up during the show because they were insulting them! Some guy, who was probably only sixteen or seventeen yelled, "Play something good!" As soon as I heard it, I guess I went into defensive fan mode, and yelled at him to shut the fuck up, that they were good, and if he didn't like it he could leave. He didn't even resond. :)
Normally, I am not one to fangirl, but I have to admit, I totally did with this one! I got all the way up to the barricade, and stayed there, I could see perfectly and was happy. BVB coulda never gotten off stage and I would have been a happy camper. The first time I heard Andy talk, my mind was blown! I didn't even scream, I just looked at him with my jaw dropped. Of course, then I screamed. I think I was in fangirl heaven up there, I could have watched them forever! I tried to get video, but the sound quality on them sucked. I probably will still upload them eventually, but I may also edit them so the recorded verison is there. I don't know yet, but I was very amused. I got a lot of pictures too, I noticed I got almost equal ammounts of pictures of Andy and Ashley. They're my favorites of the band, but I did get pictures of all of them, even a few of CC.
It was really hard getting pictures of CC, not only was I at an angle that I barely saw him, but he head bangs really hard. I was almost certain he nearly hit head on the drums several times. I also thought for sure Andy was somehow going to manage to hurt himself even though they were only on stage for five or six songs. He kept spitting on the stage, and at one point I saw him slip. I was just waiting for him to fall on his face. Thankfully though, he did not. He did however need to pull up his pants, I have more than one picture where you can see how buttcrack. Its sort of surprising since he practically has to paint his pants on.
Still, they were amazing, and I know say anyone who has said Andy can not sing has something seriously wrong with them. If you ask me, he has a voice of a sex God. Given, that is coming from an Andy Biersack fangirl.
After BVB went off, there was a twenty minute intermission, and then Asking Alexandria took the stage. I stayed in for one song, one song I did not know even, and walked out. The music wasn't music, it was noise! I don't really think it was Asking Alexandria's doing, and Danny's voice sounded just fine most of the time, but really it was the acoustics in that place. I decided to just hang out in the hallway with a couple friends, and stayed out there all through Asking Alexandria and Hollywood Undead. The only songs I even recongized from either band were, "Not The American Average", "Final Chapter (Let's Change The Channel)", and for Hollywood Undead, "Undead" and "Hear Me Now". With Hollywood Undead, that was only because those are the only two songs of theirs I know. With Asking Alexandria, it was because I couldn't understand much of what Danny was saying, and couldn't really decipher the music.
Only reason I knew that they played "Not The American Average" and "Final Chapter" was because I know "Not The American Average" is my favorite, and I know it very well, and he screams "Oh My God" at the beginning of "Final Chapter", and I heard that clearly. They both sounded awful though! I was considering going back in for "Not The American Average" but then I heard some of it and it was so bad it made me jump! They should have fixed the sound better.
We had fun in the hallway though, looked at merchandise, amused the Black Veil Brides merch guy by going over there four times, and taking pictures in front of it. He got in them, that was cool. Plus my friend and I ballroom danced for no real reason in the hallway to Hollywood Undead playing something I didn't know in the actual arena. Plus we met a Craig Mabbitt look a like, and amused him too by taking a picture with him. Actually, what made him laugh was me saying to my overly quiet friend that she couldn't take a picture with him because he wasn't Craig Mabbitt. He cracked up, and said do it anyways for the hell of it. I am pretty sure he won't forget that for a while.
When we went back in, my friends and I parted ways. They took their seats, I headed for the front. A guy I met there (A friend of a friend) decided to follow me up there. I think I made him a little nervous by the fact that my 4'11 and a half foot self was willing to take on the crowd myself. I felt kinda badass walking straight to the middle of the floor with him following me. He was probably thinking I was out of my mind, but people think I'm a lot younger than I really am, and while I normally hate that, it comes in handy at concerts. People are more willing to let me get in front of them, or even help me get to the front. I lost Devon (the guy I met), at some point, and went up to the barricade. Didn't even need to fight my way up there, I basically just walked up there. Weird thing was, I had to do more fighting to get to the front at the Mayday Parade concert I went to last week then I did for them.
I myself am not a big fan of A7x, but my mom is. I promised her that this time around I'd get her a lot of pictures of them, because the last time we saw them we only got a few. Since I didn't really care about them at all, I mostly just focused on taking pictures. I got a ton of good ones, which I will upload to the Music = Life page as soon as I can. Facebook's photo uploader has been terribly slow lately, and glitchy, so it takes me a while to get everything up.
Even though I was on the barricade and probably ten feet from a speaker, I didn't pay attention to all the songs they played. I know they played several I knew fairly well like "Nightmare", "Second Heartbeat", "Unholy Confessions", "Buried Alive", ect. It would have been weird if they hadn't played "Buried Alive". I mean, come on its the Buired Alive tour, its to be expected. They did well, and I got some very great pictures.
I had fun, and I defentily want to see Black Veil Brides again! They're high up on my list of the best performers I've ever seen. Right up there with Three Days Grace.

What an amazing year!
I know people normally do things like this on New Years Eve, but I feel its important to say some things now. 2011, though its had its down's, has been such an incredible year. I've realized who my true friends are, made some new ones, and have begun living my dream. I decided this year that I want to be a music journalist, and have been working very hard to pursue that dream. Not only have I landed interviews with Jason Nott of Drive A, Bryan Stars from YouTube, but also Mayday Parade.
I have won tickets to see several of my favorite bands this year. First this year, I saw Escape The Fate with Alesana, Motionless In White, Drive A, and Get Scared on January 30,2011. Then I saw Avenged Sevenfold, supported by Three Days Grace and Bullet For My Valentine on May 9, 2011. I won tickets to go to Uproar Festival 2011 with Avenged Sevenfold, Three Days Grace, Bullet For My Valentine, Escape The Fate, Black Tide, Seether, Sevendust, Art Of Dying, and Hell Or Highwater for September 3. Unfortunately, I did not get to go to that, but we still had the tickets. Then on November 18th I got the honor to meet Mayday Parade, recieve a photo pass, and see them live with We Are The In Crowd, The Make, There For Tomorrow, and You Me At Six.
Now, for November 23, I have tickets to see Avenged Sevenfold again with Black Veil Brides, Asking Alexandria, and Hollywood Undead on the first date of the Buried Alive tour. Or, as its called her local, the X-Mas Ball!!
This makes me so freakin' happy right now. After tomorrow, I would have seen five of my favorite bands this year alone! How many people are ever able to say that? My favorites include Three Days Grace, Escape The Fate, Mayday Parade, Black Veil Brides, and Bullet For My Valentine used to be in there. I won't get into that though, I am in a good mood right now, and explaining that always brings my mood down.
This year has been incredible, I've gotten to do so many things that most people never get to do, and I can not say how thankful I am for it. We've never been lucky people, but for some reason we've been incredibly lucky this year. Perfect time of the year to be thankful for things, I suppose.
Now I can not wait for tomorrow! I hope to meet Andy Biersack of Black Veil Brides.

THE NOISE TOUR (How it was!)
So last night was the second to last night of Mayday Parade's Noise Tour. It featured (in this order), The Make, There For Tomorrow, You Me At Six, We Are The In Crowd, and of course, Mayday Parade. As I have been saying on the Facebook page for some time now, I got the honor of getting into the Street Team Meet And Greet for Mayday Parade. After much confusion, and actually asking Alex Garcia himself where it was, along with two of the You Me At Six guys, several security guards, and many miscellanious fans, we finally were able to get inside.
They had to go get Mayday Parade's tour manager, Mike, and he let us in. I had already spoken with him on the phone, so I'm assuming that's why it was so casual. I've done other meet and greets before, but they were never like this. The band, all except their bassist, Jeremy Lenzo, was down in the pit of the club, just wandering around down there. They are all so sweet! They didn't hesitate at all to take pictures, sign things, or just stand there talking with you. We did miss Jeremy, which was a shame, since he was the one I got to interview, but its still ok. He had been down there, but since we were late getting in there due to confusion, we missed him.
We had to go outside again to get my photo pass, which ment I got to skip the barricade in the pit to get right up to the stage. Myself, and about six other people got to do so, though I wasn't informed until right before You Me At Six went on stage that I could go up there for the first three songs of every band, not just Mayday Parade. So unforunately, I missed out on that for The Make, and There for Tomorrow, and actually didn't get a lot for You Me At Six (because the security guard only let me in there for one song.), but I was right there for We Are The In Crowd, and Mayday Parade.
I didn't know a lot of the songs the other bands played, but I knew all of the ones Mayday Parade played. Before that though, I know There For Tomorrow played "Pages" for the first time on this tour, You Me At Six played "Little Death" (I think, I wasn't really paying a lot of attention to them) and a few others that I recongized, but couldn't quite place. The crowd went nuts for them though. It was cool seeing the crowd get more pysched with every band.
The first band was a new band from California, The Make, and while I had never heard them, they're really good. I loved their passion and energy, they were so into it, plus you could tell this was still a treat for them, not a job to them. We got to meet the singer (who's name I unfortunately do not know) and their keyboardist / guitarist (who's name I also do not know). The drummer and bassist disappeared out of thin air, we looked around, but could not find him anywhere, so we just sort of gave up. Ironically, my mom who wasn't even seeing the concert (though she was in the parking lot), did meet the bassist outside. We also got their autographs on a free poster they were giving out, which was cool. They both seemed surprised because we complimented not only their talent, but we said the lead singer was adorable and the keyboardist was pretty. I'm not sure why they were so surprised we'd say that, because its the total truth.
We hung out with some people we met outside the venue before the concert started through most of There For Tomorrow, though my attention was sparked when he said something about they hadn't played "Pages" at all this tour, so they wanted to. I recorded it, but the sound quality isn't too great, unfortunately. Everything else is great though.
We were in the pit for some of You Me At Six, but that was only for a few songs. For some reason we didn't really pay much attention to them. However, once We Are The In Crowd got on stage, we didn't leave the pit, so we defentily paid attention. We were getting tired of trying to push past people, so we just decided to hang out down there for the remainder of the show.
While I didn't know a lot of We Are The In Crowd's music, I quite enjoyed their set. They were so into it, you could tell they were having a blast even though both the lead singer, Taylor, and the guitarist, Jordan were injured. Taylor told me before the show that she fell, so her foot was in a walking cast, and while on stage she told the audience a story about Jordan getting the bright idea to climb a fence while drunk. Instead of really climbing it, he sort of flew over it, and landed on the bassist, Mike, which resulted in many cuts upon his face. I felt bad he was injured, but the story amused me. Everyone, even Jordan, seemed amused.
Then it was time for Mayday Parade, which was obviously the one everyone was the most excited for. On and off for half an hour before they actually took the stage the audience would chant "Mayday". Only for seconds at a time, but it'd die down and pick up again several times. By the time it finally started everyone was going nuts, even the boys on stage! They didn't strike me as the hyper types, but they defentily are!
Since tonight is the final night of the Noise tour, and anyone going to it will not be reading this until after the show, I feel it is safe to say the set list. These songs are not in order, and I do feel like I forgot a song or two, but here's what I recall them doing. They opened with "Oh Well, Oh Well", then played "Jersey", then "Anywhere But Here." I'm a bit fuzzy on the order of the songs, but they also played, "Kids In love", "Miserable At Best", "Stay", "When You See My Friends", "Jamie All Over", "No Heroes Allowed", "Black Cat", "When I Get Home You're So Dead", "Walk On Water Or Drown", "Three Cheers For Five Years" and ended with "One Man Drinking Game."
Never before have I ended up crying during a concert due to the music before. They played "Miserable At Best", and "Stay" together. Derek asked for the crowd to tell him they wanted him to play a sad song, so of course everyone did, and then he started in on "Miserable At Best". As if that song wasn't touching enough, he went right into "Stay". I was choking up a bit on the words to "Miserable At Best", for personal reasons, but I completely lost it when I realized he was started "Stay". I felt like I shouldn't have been crying, but then I had a thought. Music is supposed to be relatable, the bands want their fans to be moved by their words. They were so moved at some point that they wrote the lyrics, so it only makes sense that they'd probably be very touched to hear that a fan could relate to a song so much that they cried while screaming the lyrics.
Some people may view that as a fangirl sort of deal, but I don't. I view it as life. Its just one person connecting with another. It was an incredible night, and I am truly honored that I got this experience. Much thanks to Mayday Parade's managers Jaime and Mike, you guys made a dream of mine come true, and you can gurarentee I'll never forget your kindess. Thank you to We Are the In Crowd, You Me At Six, We Are The In Crowd, The Make, and of course, Mayday Parade for sharing your music with the world. Oh, I also feel I should mention this, Derek Sanders, Mayday Parade's lead singer said that two months ago he fathered a baby girl. I found it incredibly sweet that he'd mention her on stage in front of a thousand people/
That was defentily one of the best nights of my life, I've never gotten to experience anything quite like that.
They had to go get Mayday Parade's tour manager, Mike, and he let us in. I had already spoken with him on the phone, so I'm assuming that's why it was so casual. I've done other meet and greets before, but they were never like this. The band, all except their bassist, Jeremy Lenzo, was down in the pit of the club, just wandering around down there. They are all so sweet! They didn't hesitate at all to take pictures, sign things, or just stand there talking with you. We did miss Jeremy, which was a shame, since he was the one I got to interview, but its still ok. He had been down there, but since we were late getting in there due to confusion, we missed him.
We had to go outside again to get my photo pass, which ment I got to skip the barricade in the pit to get right up to the stage. Myself, and about six other people got to do so, though I wasn't informed until right before You Me At Six went on stage that I could go up there for the first three songs of every band, not just Mayday Parade. So unforunately, I missed out on that for The Make, and There for Tomorrow, and actually didn't get a lot for You Me At Six (because the security guard only let me in there for one song.), but I was right there for We Are The In Crowd, and Mayday Parade.
I didn't know a lot of the songs the other bands played, but I knew all of the ones Mayday Parade played. Before that though, I know There For Tomorrow played "Pages" for the first time on this tour, You Me At Six played "Little Death" (I think, I wasn't really paying a lot of attention to them) and a few others that I recongized, but couldn't quite place. The crowd went nuts for them though. It was cool seeing the crowd get more pysched with every band.
The first band was a new band from California, The Make, and while I had never heard them, they're really good. I loved their passion and energy, they were so into it, plus you could tell this was still a treat for them, not a job to them. We got to meet the singer (who's name I unfortunately do not know) and their keyboardist / guitarist (who's name I also do not know). The drummer and bassist disappeared out of thin air, we looked around, but could not find him anywhere, so we just sort of gave up. Ironically, my mom who wasn't even seeing the concert (though she was in the parking lot), did meet the bassist outside. We also got their autographs on a free poster they were giving out, which was cool. They both seemed surprised because we complimented not only their talent, but we said the lead singer was adorable and the keyboardist was pretty. I'm not sure why they were so surprised we'd say that, because its the total truth.
We hung out with some people we met outside the venue before the concert started through most of There For Tomorrow, though my attention was sparked when he said something about they hadn't played "Pages" at all this tour, so they wanted to. I recorded it, but the sound quality isn't too great, unfortunately. Everything else is great though.
We were in the pit for some of You Me At Six, but that was only for a few songs. For some reason we didn't really pay much attention to them. However, once We Are The In Crowd got on stage, we didn't leave the pit, so we defentily paid attention. We were getting tired of trying to push past people, so we just decided to hang out down there for the remainder of the show.
While I didn't know a lot of We Are The In Crowd's music, I quite enjoyed their set. They were so into it, you could tell they were having a blast even though both the lead singer, Taylor, and the guitarist, Jordan were injured. Taylor told me before the show that she fell, so her foot was in a walking cast, and while on stage she told the audience a story about Jordan getting the bright idea to climb a fence while drunk. Instead of really climbing it, he sort of flew over it, and landed on the bassist, Mike, which resulted in many cuts upon his face. I felt bad he was injured, but the story amused me. Everyone, even Jordan, seemed amused.
Then it was time for Mayday Parade, which was obviously the one everyone was the most excited for. On and off for half an hour before they actually took the stage the audience would chant "Mayday". Only for seconds at a time, but it'd die down and pick up again several times. By the time it finally started everyone was going nuts, even the boys on stage! They didn't strike me as the hyper types, but they defentily are!
Since tonight is the final night of the Noise tour, and anyone going to it will not be reading this until after the show, I feel it is safe to say the set list. These songs are not in order, and I do feel like I forgot a song or two, but here's what I recall them doing. They opened with "Oh Well, Oh Well", then played "Jersey", then "Anywhere But Here." I'm a bit fuzzy on the order of the songs, but they also played, "Kids In love", "Miserable At Best", "Stay", "When You See My Friends", "Jamie All Over", "No Heroes Allowed", "Black Cat", "When I Get Home You're So Dead", "Walk On Water Or Drown", "Three Cheers For Five Years" and ended with "One Man Drinking Game."
Never before have I ended up crying during a concert due to the music before. They played "Miserable At Best", and "Stay" together. Derek asked for the crowd to tell him they wanted him to play a sad song, so of course everyone did, and then he started in on "Miserable At Best". As if that song wasn't touching enough, he went right into "Stay". I was choking up a bit on the words to "Miserable At Best", for personal reasons, but I completely lost it when I realized he was started "Stay". I felt like I shouldn't have been crying, but then I had a thought. Music is supposed to be relatable, the bands want their fans to be moved by their words. How am I supposed to not feel bad?
As everyone on the Facebook page knows, I am going to see Mayday Parade tonight. I am excited, but at the same time I feel like an awful person. We really can not afford this, but yet I still really want to go. Its a huge opprunity, and while others are meeting the band too, I doubt any of them are going to get there the way I did. I got it because I showed interest in the band as people. I don't fully know what the "street team" does, but even if its similar, the curcumstances are vastly different.
Anyways, I don't know what to do. I feel like a horrible person for even wanting to go still. I got so annoyed earlier I just said "Fuck it, we're not going!" My parents wouldn't accept that. They know how important this is to me, but at the same time, you know what's gonna happen. Since we can't afford it, we'll go without something soon and then I'll hear about it. I have some money, and I do plan on forcing it upon my mother. Either way, I still feel awful..

Props to those YouTubers out there...and Mayday Parade concert tomorrow!
Hey guys, so we all know about those YouTubers out there, big ones like Smosh, Shane Dawson and Ray William Johnson, and a million more. I don't know how they stand it! I tried to make a video yesterday, it took me like thirteen tries and I still didn't end up keeping that! I don't know if it was me or the camera, but you could barely hear me at all, and I think I was talking pretty loud.
I think I may scrap the whole "vlog" idea, and just stick to blogs. I don't know yet, opinions would be nice, but who am I kidding? When I ask for opinions I never get them from you guys. I don't know why really, I don't think anyone likes the whole blog idea. The most views I've gotten in one day was seven, but generally its one or two. Anyways, it really was not working out too well, but whatever. Someone might care and read these random things.
Before I go, I wanted to share some stuff with you guys. I 'll start the official entertainment section within the next few months but Shane Dawson posted a new video, you can check that out below, and Smosh was in an Epic Meal Time video, which you can view by clicking right here.

So much to do!
I want to apologize again, last night I got a little emotional on the Facebook page, a lot of you guys saw it, and some people responded. I appericate the ones that responded, and to all, I still apologize. I didn't mean to, it just sort of happened.
Anyways, on to the normal stuff. I wanted to say I have been working on plans for Immortal Music and Music = Life. I believe I mentioned this yesterday, but I am still working on it. I'm planning set days for some things, and some daily things. I am planning on starting all this on Sunday, January 1, 2012. I won't tell you all what I'm planning yet, but I think people will like it. Or at least I hope people will like it.
I think the page will be more active this way, and that'll be nice. Um...I just realized I have like nothing else to say, so I guess I'll go. Bye guys!

Wasting time
Once again, I have been wasting time watching Shane Dawson for hours on end. Normally, I try to keep track, but I have no idea how long its been. I'm guessing somewhere between two or four hours. I don't know, he's really freakin' addictive. I wanted to ask you guys though, would it be cool if I interviewed Shane Dawson? I keep thinking of questions for him, and I did find his email address, so why not? It'd be pretty fucking awesome. I think it'd be a good time, anyways.
He puts me in such a random mood, though I'll admit he's made me cry like three times. One of which, he had me bawling. That was this morning. I'm in a good mood, so I won't go into detail. Let's just say, I watched one of his videos about his grandmother, who has now passed away, and I couldn't take it. It struck a nerve that I try to surpress a lot, but it also does come to the surface. Friends know the story, and do try to keep me away from the subject, because it puts me in a very dark place. Anyways, apart from that, I do really think he's a cool person. Many people are aware that I have been watching him like crazy lately. Not really because I am being an OCD fangirl or anything like that, its for a few reasons. One of them being that he is funny, obviously, or else I wouldn't waste my days watching his videos.
Another reason is, if I ever do get to interview him, I don't think it'd look very good if I don't have a clue what his videos are about. I mean, where are you gonna come up with questions if you don't know the person's material? You kinda have to know it. So, um, I keep thinking of all these random things today, and I am thinking I'm going to start doing a lot next year. Like start making Vlogs or whatever, even though I really doubt they'll be popular. I just was thinking earlier that this year, while its had it's up's and down's has been a great year.
I've gone to two concerts, soon to be three, met one of my favorite people on the planet (Max Green), saw three of my favorite bands this year, and got to meet one of them. Then this Friday, I'll be seeing and meeting another one of my favorites, Mayday Parade. I feel like I've been bragging about that, I'm really sorry, guys, if its seemed like I have been. I just feel so honored getting to do this. How many people get to say they get to go to a concert for one of their favorite bands for free? Plus they get to meet them, again for free, all because they showed great interest in the band as people for the most part? I knew it comes with the job, but its rare when people just starting out get to do this. I don't think people get how truely awesome that is.
Oh, and quick announcement. I still don't have the money for the upgrade for Immortal Music, but I am hoping to get it for Christmas. My grandpa, most years, sends me about $50 for Christmas, and if he does this year I'll use that to get the pro upgrade for the site. It'll last a year, so I am just hoping next year I'll have the money to upgrade again, or else...well I don't know what the fuck I'll do. Once I get that I'll stop posting blogs here.

Talking about some deep shit now.
Alright, so anyone who's been on the Facebook page the past few days knows that I have been obessively watching Shane Dawson videos on YouTube. Ususally he's all goofy, and silly, you know? He isn't always like that though, he does have some serious ones. He has one where he talks about his issues with his dad, one about flaws where he quotes Hannah Montana, questioning why you were ever born, and the one I most recently watched, one about bullying and suicide.
It really spoke to me. I don't really know why it spoke to me the way it did, but it did. I think it spoke to me because he opened up on camera to thousands of people. Not only did he tell his story, but he asked about others. He seemed geniune about it too, and honestly, that's rare. Especially on the internet! So many people on the internet seem to be trolling one another, and purposely insulting someone or something. Real life is just like that too, and it shouldn't be like that.
The video I made, is similar to my lyric videos in style, but I do not use lyrics. I used my own words, just trying to reach out to people. I used a very beatiful song, that actually gave me that warm and fuzzy feeling when I first heard it, in the background. The song in it is "I Will Be There" by Art Of Dying, and I used it because it flat out says, "I will be there when nothing works and no one cares." Not a lot of people ever say that, or when they do, they don't mean it. I find that very shameful, because at some point in time, we're all going to need someone.
We're taught as small children, "treat others the way we wanna be treated.", but so many people forgot that golden rule. I've always said my weakness is that I care too much, that's why my theme song is "Scars" by Papa Roach. Everyone knows that, I make it very clear. I try to be that person that's always there for people, and sometimes I'm there even when I don't really wanna be. I don't know why really, I guess I just try to make up for those who aren't like that without really thinking about it.
In the video I made, I made sure to tell people that if they wanted, they can even talk to me about stuff. I said on YouTube, but even on Facebook or email. I want to make a difference, which, as I've mentioned before is why I am going into the music journalism business. It makes myself happy, helps out the bands, and could possibly save someone's life. Music is my escape, and it is for many others too. Someone's heart and soul goes into most songs, and if you listen carefully, you can tell.
Um...so that's kinda why I made the video. I coulda made an actual video of me talking, but I feel I get my point across better if I write instead of talk. That and I was too lazy to make a video. If you haven't seen Shane's video, go watch it. Or I guess you could click right here to watch Shane's video, or right here to watch mine. Shane's is better, obviously. There you go, there you have it. Maybe I'll actually get around to making videos. I don't know, that still makes me a bit nervous. I'm not sure how I feel about it. Big Time Rush has just gone and pissed me off! (We need to bring this to ATL's attention)
I am not hating on them, I want to say that first and formost! However, I am hating on what the fuck they did. Its never cool when a band steals another band's song and does not give them credit, its no different then you drawing a picture, giving it to one of your friends, and then they act like they worked so hard on it. Everyone want the credit where the credit is due, and I thought people had gotten better about it.
Guess not. I have not heard of songs getting stolen in years, though off the top of my head I can not name a single one that got stolen. I know there have been some in the past, but maybe I wasn't aware of any of them. You probably already know this, as anyone that follows Byran Stars on Faceook or Twitter, or even YouTube has probably already heard, but Big Time Rush stole All Time Low's song, "No idea." I didn't think a thing of it until I heard it.
I thought to myself, Oh come on, guys, its just a cover. If you don't like it, so what? That's no reason to hate on it. I like some of BTR's music, and I adore All Time Low, so I listened to it. All the words are changed, except for the chorus, and that seriously pissed me off. To make it worse, they are putting it on their sophmore album, which I discovered comes out on November 21, along with several good albums.
I thought Disney did shit like that, ripping off good music and all that. I thought all musicians would respect one another, and know better than to steal each other's work. Its not easy to write songs, and I know All Time Low worked hard on this. I don't know if they're aware of this, but if they're not they should be. I want every All Time Low fan to go post on ATL's Facebook page talking about this rip off, Tweet Jack, Alex, Zack, and Brian, and the All Time Low accounnt, even bring it to the attention of Interscope. I think this is very wrong, because they're claiming its theirs and its not. Its clearly not, if you've heard "No Idea" you'll know that. I know nobody really reads my blogs, so I'm probably talking to myself, but this is a serious matter. A very good band has been ripped off, and that's a problem. They need to get the correct credit, and quite frankly, I don't think Big Time Rush deserves to have that on their album. Its not a cover, its a rip off.
Help ATL out, spread the word about it. Oh, and don't go by BTR's album, Elevate. That's just supporting them and their stealing. Which is a crime, by the way. KIDZ BOP SUCKS!
I got word last night that there's now a Kidz Bop 20. I remember when the first one came out in 2001. I just googled that to make sure, it was in October 2001. So, what the fuck?! They've been ruining songs for ten years, and have twenty cd's out now? I've never liked them, they've ruined great songs for ten freakin' years. Why??? Hell if I know. Not only do they sound bad, but they pick songs with inappropriate lyrics and change them so they're not inappropriate. Like, "The Lazy Song" by Bruno Mars or "Fucking Perfect" by P!nk. They have covered both, and changed both. "Fucking Perfect" is now "Freaking perfect", and advertised as just "Perfect."
I didn't think a thing about "The Lazy Song", until the line, "Gonna throw my hands in my pants." 10 year olds can not sing that line! Hopefully, they won't even understand why someone would do that. If you don't get it, and you're over, oh say, twelve, you need help. I'm just saying, then would be a good time to go talk to your parents about the birds and bees. Speaking of, there's two things I have to mention. Punk Goes Pop 4 hits shelves and stores online on the 21st of this month. So there's still a little over a week for that, but also, I will be seeing We Are the In Crowd next Friday night at Revolution Live in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The venue is pretty small, so even though I do not have a planned meet and greet for them, chances are I will get to. Because of that, I'm hoping to have some questions thought up on the off chance that I get any real time with any of them. However, I've barely heard anything by We Are The In Crowd, so I really need some fan help here. Think up some questions and comment with them on the Facebook page. PLEASE! I only six days. I also really want to think of some for There For Tomorrow and You Me At Six. I can do You Me At Six, I just haven't yet.

Falling In Reverse and album reviews!
This morning I got up, and wrote three album reviews. I'll be posting those on Immortal Music later, and may just write another one later. I don't know yet, but its possible. I also got up and started watching live videos of Falling In Reverse and D.R.U.G.S.
If anyone really pays attention at all to the Facebook page, you probably already know I am a big of D.R.U.G.S fangirl. That's not entirely true. This also won't be news to you if you ever really see the page, but while I do love D.R.U.G.S' music, the real draw to them is Matt Good. I find him to be adorable as hell, which is rather rare for a rocker. They usually look tough or some would say "emo.", not him though. He looks like a little boy, sometimes. I just want to hug him!
I feel like such a loser posting all that, when I'm supposed to be professional. You know what though? I'm not a professional yet! Even if I was, so what? I'm going into an industry where you're not supposed to be stuck up, with your hair in a bun and a pants suit. You're supposed to be the one with the crazy colors in your hair, wearing band tees and Tripps if you want to. Music is all about expressing yourself, so why not let the ones who support it express themselves in a unique way too. I'm aware that most journalists are professional, in the nicer outfits, and all that good stuff, but I don't care. I am me, and who knows? Maybe me being different from the rest will get me more fame in the music business. I'm not in it to be famous, but if I happen to get there along the way, well, that'd be ok.
I feel like I jump around a lot with my blogs, and maybe I do. Do you guys even care? Probably not, I don't think any of you really read this thing. If you do, please comment on the link that brought you here from the Facebook page telling me you read these.
I also have to mention this, I just found what is a fake account for Max Green, Escape The Fate's bassist. It even says its fake, but what I don't get it is why it says he's gay and in a relationship with Monte (Escape The Fate's gutiarist)! He is not gay, and defentily not in a relationship with Monte. That being said I wouldn't be shocked if Max was bi, seeing as I've seen him kiss Craig and basically feel him up before for no known reason.
I feel like, if you're going to make a fanpage or whatever, at least have your facts right.
Sorry, random rant over. Um...like I said, I'll get the album reviews up today, and I'll post the news in a little while. I think I'm gonna go watch some more Shane Dawson. I showed that one I posted on the Facebook page to my brother and now I kinda watch some more. Byeee!

I feel like I have been so lazy this afternoon!
Its only like one o'clock and I feel like I've been so damn lazy its not even funny. Maybe that's because I just wasted like two hours watching Shane Dawson videos. I seriously feel like I should pick up the camera and just start making videos, maybe you guys would actually pay attention to those!
I kinda think nobody wants to read and that's why nobody pays attention to my blogs. For that matter, I'm not even certain more than like two people read the music news on Immortal Music. Anyways, so I was watching Shane Dawson earlier, and normally I don't watch him. I saw one video sometime last year and thought it was the stupidest thing ever. I remember telling my friend who told me to watch him that he was hot as hell but not at all funny. I guess I was just watching the wrong video, as I checked out his ShaneDawsonTV2 channel, and laughed my fucking ass off.
The video that ultimately got me to change my mind was "Gay kiss with Shane Dawson", and I originally clicked on it because I was like, "Ok, there's a ton of gay rumors about him, but he denies it so much. Why would there be a video of him kissing a dude?" I figured it'd be a fake out video, where it comes close, but then doesn't happen. I won't ruin the video for it, you can check it out on the Music = Life page on Facebook, or on Shane's ShaneDawsonTV2 account. Just something he does in the video made me crack up so much I watched it twice in a row, and I never do that! I never even do that for Smosh, who I adore.
SPEAKING OF SMOSH, (like my segway there?), they're doing a contest to fly you and two people out to Califorina to meet them and be in an episode of Lunchtime With Smosh. If you don't know what Lunchtime With Smosh is, you're a loser. Just kidding, but seriously, you're missing out. It can be found on Ian's channel, IanH. That is also where they post videos for "Ian Is Bored", which is really just Mailtime with Smosh, and the videos where Mari talks about articles they post on the Smosh Pit on Smosh.com.
Somewhere below this text, there is a link to the video about Smosh's contest. The contest is called For Breakout Contest and is sponsered by X Out acne cream. Honestly, who cares who's sponsering it? Its Smosh, they're fucking awesome. Go check out the video, and the rest of their videos.
The basic rules of the contest are simply. Build a fort and make a three minute (or less) video of you breaking out of it. The most creative wins, and only people thirteen to eighteen can enter. That part kind of sucks, as I know for sure that people older than eighteen would kill to make a fort just so they can destroy it and then meet Smosh. I do plan on entering, and I am barely able to enter, seeing as I am eighteen.
I love how this started as me talking and ended with me reporting about a few YouTube stars. See? This is why I need an entertainment section! This way I can talk about the random videos I watch for no real reason at all, and I can say its for my site. Yay for excuses to waste my day on Youtube? No, oh you're no fun. Oh wait, someone just nodded in front of the computer? Sweetness, high five person!
That would have been far less stupid had that not been all typed out...two things on my Christmas list: my own camera, and my own computer. Two very needed things.

Fort Breakout Contest
Does anyone even read this thing? (Rants and Immortal Music updates)
Seriously, does anyone even read my blog? I'll admit, they're just me talking to myself, and is that ever interesting? I don't read blogs, all I do is talk to myself, or at least, that's what it feels like. The stats say nobody's really viewed my blog since the very first post, when I stated everyone had to read it. Several peoole did, because it intailed information to the changes for Immortal Music.
Speaking of, I am still thinking about some changes, and some new add on's and updates I am considering. I've been thinking about setting set days for some things. If you're interested, there's a list of possible ideas below. I'd appericate it if you guys would drop a message on the Facebook page with your thoughts on it. That does include suggestions for other things!
Possible ideas for a schedule:
-Album reviews every Monday and Friday (2 -4 a week)
-Band Biographies every other Wednesday (1 every 2 weeks)
- Entertainement Section every Saturday or Sunday
-"Vlog /Video log" every Sunday
-Layout changes on the 27th of every month.
I would still post news every day, because frankly if I didn't, I'd fall behind. I am also considering doing themes for the whole "hour of music" thing I've been doing lately. People seem to like it, but I thought it could be even more fun if they were themed. For example, "Only songs about love." or "Only songs without the letter A in them." Fun, sometimes challanging things like that. They're just ideas, but I'd really like it if someone would give me some feedback.
Also, I plan on keeping up with the whole "vs" thing I've been doing lately. People still need to answer the latest one, which is is "Falling In Reverse vs Black Veil Brides".They were tied until moments ago, when someone else just voted Black Veil Brides up one more. So it appears as though BVB may win. Who knows. I will leave this one up until this evening, and if nothing changes, I will pronounce BVB the winner's and have them contiune on in future vs battles.
Please help out here! If I get no feedback, I assume nobody cares and nothing gets changed. Given, I may just do some of this anyways, especially the band biographies. Maybe that'd be a good way to get me to write more of them, I really need to do more of those, I do not have enough of them.

You're nuts if you think...
I was watching a video BryanStars posted about what he thinks about We The Kings and others, and it got me thinking. He's nuts if he thinks All Time Low is losing their touch! I don't even get why he'd say that considering he told me himself last month that All Time Low is his all time favorite band. His opinion is that Dirty Work is not their best album, while I feel it is! If anyone has ever taken the time to read my review of it, I clearly state, "All Time Low has finally found their true sound." Or something along those lines, hell if I know for sure what the hell I said. He also states that We The Kings and NeverShoutNever have gone down hill. I really can't speak for those two, I only like one NeverShoutNever song ("Happy"), and I haven't really bothered to listen to We The Kings since Secret Valentine came out.
Honestly, I can't think of any bands that have slipped. All I keep thinking is music is music, they will never slip unless they stop. Music changes with the person who writes it, and unfortunately, sometimes people don't like the difference. That's not the musician's fault, its just life. I'm seriously trying to think of someone in the music world who honestly "slipped" and only one that is coming to my mind is Hannah freakin' Montana! That's completely different because she only helped write the Hannah music some of the time, and all the rest of the time it was TV writers writing her music. There's a reason not all of her music was good -plus her music is for kid's show, what would you expect?
I've had more cases where I didn't like someone's older music, but I loved their newer stuff. For example, All Time Low and Simple Plan. As I didn't like All Time Low's earlier work over all. I liked a few songs, and that was it. They've gotten better over the years. Same goes for Simple Plan, though I did enjoy their earlier stuff, I rarely would think about more thant two or three songs. I love their Get Your Heart On! album though, especially the track "You Suck At Love." Its just awesome.
So tell me, is there anyone you feel has slipped?

I'm surprised.
I'm surprised guys, I get on here today to post something just for the hell of it, and decided to check the stats from yesterday. The last blog I had, never got more than two views a day. Yesterday 11 people viewed it, its still not much but still pretty awesome to me. Thank you, guys!
Now on to what I actually came on here for. Is anyone else sick of seeing statuses saying, "Missing him" or "Missing her."? I saw like four today, two of them are from a thirteen year old and it annoys me!I get so tired of seeing lovey dovey messages being posted in some people's status. Its like, I get it, you miss your boyfriend, do you have to mention it at the end of EVERY status. Ugh, maybe its just me, I don't know. Its always bugged me, and even when I've been in a relationship, I can not say as though I ever posted a status saying I missed them. Or if I did, it was like one or two times.
What's really annoying is when its a thirteen year old, I mean come the fuck on. I feel like anyone under the age of 14 should have crushes, not relationships! Fifteen is ok, sixteen is the age I feel is acceptable. You have to hit a level of maturity for a real relationship, without that, you're gonna "Break up" with someone every two days, and be very upset, and possbibly get pressured into something you will regret later. Its just all around a bad idea, if you ask me. Again, maybe its just me, I don't know.
*Sigh* Random rant over. Just as an aside, I am listening to what I thought was a leaked verison of Punk Goes Pop 4, but its totally fake! I'm not sure if the For All Those Sleeping cover of "You Belong With Me" was real or not, but the "Super Bass" cover was defentily not! It was Artist Vs Poet, not The Downtown Fiction. Still a good cover, but its the wrong name! This person seriously needs to put the real band name up, and stop lying. She was trying to tell people that it was too The Downtown Fiction because Artist Vs Poet is not on Punk Goes Pop 4. Bitch, you're just lying, or really clueless about bands.
I'm still listening to the fake album, as I do enjoy covers, but so far I'm not overly impressed. I listened to the "You Belong With Me" cover, and I liked that, love "Super Bass", "We R Who We R", didn't like that one, and now I'm on "Fuck You". Supposedly its Sleeping With Sirens, I know for a fact its not! I forget the actual band name, but its not Sleeping With Sirens. The singer's voice is too low to be Sleeping With Sirens. Now I am listening to what is supposedly Woe Is Me's cover of "Last Friday Night". Its a cover of it that I have known for a while. "Last Friday Night" by The Vegas Wake Up. I just wanted to see if it would be this cover or not, as I knew it'd be fake and sometime today Woe Is Me is offically releasing the cover.
I'll keep posting songs on the Facebook page, and a couple of the songs I've heard and mentioned above are currently on the FB page.

I just wanted to see if it would be this cover or not, as I knew it'd be fake and sometime today Woe Is Me is offically releasing the cover.
I'll keep posting songs on the Facebook page, and a couple of the songs I've heard and mentioned above are currently on the FB page.

Immortal Music's new creator's blog.
Due to recent changes to the website, to save some room, I will be posting my 'Creator's Blog' posts here until I have the money to upgrade my website, Immortal Music to the pro status. I don't really want to, and it will be a bit weird, but what has to be done will be done. I apologize if this is odd for anyone else, its incredibly unprofessional, if you ask me. I do not have any other option for now though, unless I was to create an entire new site just for the blogs. That seemed pointless to me, so I just resorted back to Blogger. I'm hoping this will only be temporary, honestly.
Just going to dive in here with some changes that have been maded to the website. The pages for the album reviews, band biographies and interviews have been converted from normal pages to a blog style, so they are easier to view. Also, I still really want some feed back on the Immortal Awards! Can someone at least tell me if its a sucky idea or not? I still want to do it, but I don't have enough bands. Maybe I'll sit down later and really think about it.
Sometime soon I do plan on adding more reviews and biographies. I haven't reviewed anything since last month, and I haven't written a biography since September. Not to mention, I only have a small handful. I need more practice with those.
I also just feel like saying something real quick, as its running through my head and it seems important to say. I do find rockstars attractive, and yes, sometimes that is the majority of their appeal, but that is never my reason for being into a band. You're not into a band then, you're into the person.Which is fine, but when I say I am a "fangirl" for someone, its not usually just skin deep. Its because of what they write, or their personality. Same goes for normal people, I am not superficial like that.
Music is my life, and I sincerely mean that. Its very powerful, and simply amazing. It has nothing to do with the looks of the band.
